At this stage in 2005 we had played 13 , won 1 drew 7 and lost 5, everyone on NSC was moaning about the lack of a striker and the ability to turn draws into wins. The striker never did come and the draws in the end turned into defeats, let's hope Bloom is not prepared to let history repeat itself.

I know the perceived wisdom on NSC is that McGhee was a clown but I liked him and I'm sure he'd have had us doing much better than Hyypia has so far managed even with League One forwards again.
