...to Micky Adams.

I was one of the "moaners" who doubted both his ability and his stomach for the fight. I voted in one of the polls that we were going to get relegated. I made those comments in the light of the performances that I had seen at Leeds and Hartlepool and I stand by them given the circumstances.

Micky has today shown that his tactical ability is still there and that he has the fight; he must have given a speech of Churchillian proportions at half time!

Any I am sorry for being a moaning **** and I hope that this is the turning point of our season.

Well done, Sir. I think we saw what a Micky Adams side is supposed to be made of in the second half. As you say, let's hope this is the start of the play-off push!

I just dont understand this point of view...while I've been neither for/against Micky (I am willing to give him a bit of time before passing judgment) his tactics/team selection tonight were very poor. I would have had el abd in midfield instead of Savage given his poor performance at the weekend (I really don't think he's up for the fight, let him go back to Derby and lets all move on) and after dropping Whing previously and then subbing him at the weekend surely elabd should have been left in at right back? Fast Joe should also have been played closer to Virgo from the start, we got a fair amount of success last 15 minutes at the weekend with this tactic.

Micky merely corrected at half time what should have been corrected in the team selection before the game, fair play for correcting it at half time rather than 60 minutes but surely not the masterstroke it's being made out to be..?!

Dont talk crap about Adams out and Relegation looming then if one away win will suddenly save us from relegation... if we lose at home next week, will you go back to the Adams out stance?

No I wont. That will be for one simple reason in that we have seen now one display of Adams fight.

Yes one swallow does not make a summer but before tonight we had not seen a fighting performance such as this.

Tonight is worth more than three points in my opinion.

hey look,

I will say now that I will be the first to praise the team when we do well,

there is nothing wrong with constuctive critiscm.

I did not see us winning tonight and at half time nothing else would lead me to belive otherwise considering the way we had played in all other home games I had seen.

I don't hate adams, of course I want him to do well,

I have had my doubts which I think is fair enough.

Tonight is a great start and hopefully we can kick on from here and continue with a win on saturday.

it will be a tough game, Adams made good tactical switches at half time today that worked well, I do think other games have benn a bit suspect as well as some of the exscuses.

all I want to see is The albion do well ( like all of us ) and as long as we have given every game a real go and tried all options even if we lose I can be satisfied we tried our best.

my reason for moaning prior to the last 45 tonight is that had not always apeared to be the case from the games I have seen.

:)

Robinwooley at least had the "bottle" to come on here and post he was wrong.

Fellow posters then use it as an opportunity to take a pop at him. ???

Yep. I'm still "Adams in", but there is a lot of work to be done.

I'm sure Adams knows there's a lot of work to be done. What's also needed is for the moaning and sniping to stop for a while. It isn't helping and Adams is going nowhere for the foreseeable future no matter how much shit gets posted on here.

Well said. If some random idiot had been brought in who none of us knew then I could understand some scepticism, but some of the sniping and abuse at a bonafide BHAFC LEGEND, a man responsible for pulling our club out of the shit and laying the foundations for some of our best ever years has made me SICK.

Micky will be here a long time yet, and I for one am f***ing glad:albion2:

A strong opinion from someone who has so much to say about an Albion stalwart like Kerry Mayo. Now THAT is f***ing hypocrisy.

A bigger hyprocrisy would be if robinwooley went back to his "old ways" of slagging off the Albion on this board if they start to do badly again? ???

Ha ha ha !!!!

Doubt the negativity will stop here though. Talk of our season being over and Adams out in October is just plain idiotic.

I don't object to constructive criticism so long as those making it still get behind the team when it matters most. Heard a few boos around us at half time in the family stand tonight though. Perhaps now those wankers and the doom and gloom merchants on here can shut the f*** up for a while now and get behind the team for a change ? I doubt they will though.
