"London is more of an international city than any other place in the world"

So says some NLF spokesman in today's Evening Standard in their piece about the Saints vs Chargers game at Wembley on Sunday. Any NSC-ers going along to that? Shame that Bush is not playing and it now sounds as if LT is likely to also miss out. Would expect the Chargers to win fairly comfortably even so.

Wil be taking my seat for the Jaguars home game against Cleveland and hoping for a resounding home win personally.

Umm....he's right though isn't he?

I understand what he means and along with New York, London is probably the most "international" city in the world. Is there ANY country on the planet that doesn't have a community presence in London?

I think that Toronto is even more of an 'international city' than London.

I'll be at the game, getting the train from the international multi cultural metropolis of Burgess Hill.

BH was the other one he mentioned on the news over here. The Standard must have edited that out for reasons I can only guess at!

To 99% of Americans , Canada is just a piece of land attached to the top of the US. As to their view of the rest of the world there is only one major city which is London. Tell an American they are the President and are going to nuke Iran and they wouldn't have a clue where it was in the world and Australia would have a big hole in it.

Fat Americans ripping up the pitch again! Hope they are going to pay to have it replaced this time!

Where did you hear that? NFL.com has LT listed as full participation in training at present?

Dunno about easy win for Charges mind, Saints can score big on their day, especially as Brees has a real point to prove. I'd say either Brees will have a stormer and Saints to win, or Brees to try too much, too often, get picked loads and Chargers to win comfortably

I shall be there, hope it's better than last year's game, last year it was great just as an event but this time hope the game is a high scoring tight affair. The pre-match entertainment of The Stereophonics, Ne-Yo and Joss Stone is exciting too
