I took a bunch of Burnley fans with me on the tour ... they were well impressed and cited it as one of the finest stadia they have visited.

Hardly suprising if you are used to the out-dated ground that is Turf Moor. (I well remember the splinters from the wooden seats in the away ebd in 2001!!!!!)

- The club actually made a special request to the FA to play the first league game at the Amex against Donny. Previously I thought it was just a happy coincidence.

I'm sure nobody's put this on NSC before...?

First i've heard of it - thanks for the info. There was us lot thinking it was 'fate'

Overheard someone in the away supporters' bar yesterday talking about this picture, made me smile.

Another piece of info that I forgot to mention, seems a bit odd to me though:

The Amex is the ONLY stadium in the WORLD to have had ALL of its sprinklers on at once.

Great pictures.

At the suporters club AGM Richard Hebberd said that all the plans for the railway are going ahead. At present there are no signals between Falmer & Brighton so they cannot run more trains after the game as a train cannot leave Falmer until the previous one is in Brighton. They will be extending the platform and putting in new signals starting October.

Glenn murray signed palace shirt on the Walls of Amex isn't that a bit like divorcing the wife then when you remarry send the ex a signed photo of your new wedding day . When our tour guide showed us that framed shirt there were quite a few bemused looks

Sorry don't understand what you are saying by this quote as there are a few signals between Falmer and Brighton, have you made this bit up.

No he isn't, because I have heard Richard Hebberd say the same thing when I spoke to him.
