Sandy Park only holds around 10,000 though, so I presume they have imminent expansion plans. Good move to move it closer to Cornwall though, as they love their rugby down there.

The minimum capacity requirement is 12,000, but Exeter have plans to expand Sandy Park to 20,000 over the next few years. I would suspect that they will be halfway through their transformation by the World Cup.

Exactly,.... rugby 'cities' in the UK are Cardiff, Bath, Bristol, Gloucester, ... the rest play a part, but Union is part of the fabric of those four places.
