It really depends what medium you use for your picture,what size...Water colours are fine for wash paintings,Acrylic are brighter colours and you can cover over any other part of the painting..oils are really good,but you have to do a bit at a time and they take a long time to dry. I did a painting of the Amex before it was finished..it was Acrylic...took me about two months, 3.3 ft x 3',paints were costing between £3 to £5.75,the board and preperation cost me £20 in materials and the frame £30 for the wood and £25 to have made up,with time it has cost me about £200. I gave it too the club and it was put into the hospitality rooms at Withdean.As far as I know it was going into the museum at the Amex but as it is not open yet I don't know.
Yup, only cost will be pen and paper. No one seems to have any photos though, so if you see some large headed fella strutting around the North Stand on Saturday taking photos of everything like a mentalist, don't be alarmed, it's only me.
