Councillor West is actually right. There is a danger of it setting a poor precedent.

That said, they need to come back with solid reasons as to why it should be built.

You can't just say 'sour taste' to turn it down, and you can't say 'oh, the stadium is there already' to approve it.

Much harder than getting the stadium plans through, council not so pro Albion now. 'remember the club said at the enquiry they wouldn't increase the capacity and wouldn't include a hotel !!! Stadium design was iconic, not sure hotel is at all
