Exactly, those offices were built before we got permission for, and built, the lancing training ground. Get rid, build the stand all the way up to the roof, sloping downwards towards from west to east with the roof.

If you zoom into the stadium on google earth, it actually shows what that might look like:

That's my dream ... move the offices to the training ground and enlarge the North stand

Hard to tell but from the image above 'Plan 7' it looks like getting rid of the kiosk and toilets at the back of the NW corner. The kiosk is no great loss as its always under staffed and under stocked already, but getting rid of the toilets wouldn't be good

Look at the date of those plans in the bottom right corner..

We could also do a "Huddersfield" if things don't go our way in the last dozen games, at which point the waiting list will plummet.

But bloom dosnt play it like that, that’s why he expanded it to 30,000 when in the championship.

Be nice if it involved a bigger North as the stadium is let down by the size and slope of that end.

Still probably wouldnt sing though. Theres a few thousand in there now and hear the excuses most weeks. Still enough to be rocking .

Can't see 2000 myseld.

Few hundred would be my guess in areas mentioned in this thread

Given the elevation, the kiosk/toilets would be way underneath the new seating wouldn’t they ? Hard to see them increasing seating and reducing the facilities.

I'm in the north stand, this season is the first time that the seat next to me has been occupied - it was empty for season after season.

On the two occasions that I couldn't go to games, I've put my ticket on the exchange, on neither occasion has it been sold - so, by defintiion, it's not a sell-out.

You only have to look around you at any game; you'll see plenty of empty seats. I'd be surprised if we ever had 30,000 at a game

Could be a season ticket holder who doesn’t choose to use their seat, I know someone who does that in the North, they stand somewhere else.

Well, by the club’s definition it is a sell out, even if a seat goes on the exchange it is still sold and has still made the club money. And, as I said, people are less likely to buy single seats. The match by match ticket areas are always full. The empty seats you see are just season ticket holder’s who can’t make the game for a particular reason.

We’ve had 30,000+ for quite a few games where the ticket has to be specifically bought.

Because of the concrete trusses, that wouldn’t be possible, it would look more like this. The slopping of the stands in between the trusses could be possible though.

For size comparison, this is what it would look like in St.Mary’s if it had an extra 8 rows.

The new "North Stand Singing Shelf", you'll be auditioned a week before the season starts and then they'll be rehearsals all the way up to the first home game. The "Twelfth Man Lounge" will be behind it and they'll issue a "free" lozenge each home game *(1901 singers only) and the food will be just a tenor!

The club submitted a planning application to City Council at the end of January ...

Non-material amendment to application BH2013/01356 to alter description of development to read: Community Stadium with accommodation for business, educational, community, health, conference, club shop, entertainment and food.

Application for removal of condition 1 and variation of condition 36 of application BH2011/03861. (Variation of condition application to increase maximum
number of spectators at American Express Community Stadium to 30,750 and to change parking provision within 1.5km to between 1500 and 3000 vehicular
parking spaces). Wording for condition 1 to be removed currently reads - "Of the additional 8,250 capacity hereby approved, only 5,991 seats of the additional
capacity shall be brought into use for the 2012/2013 football season". Wording for condition 36 to be varied to read as follows - "When the 650 space
temporary car park on land to the east of the Stadium (planning application reference LW/11/0466) ceases to be in use, of the additional 8,250 capacity hereby
approved, only 5,991 seats of the additional capacity shall continue to be in use. None of the remaining capacity of 2,259 seats shall be returned to use unless
details of a permanent park and ride solution, or other permanent transport solution to the satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority, to replace the 650 space
temporary car park, has been agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority and until the permanent park and ride solution, or other permanent transport
solution, has been implemented

Tony Bloom is at a Fans forum in Horsham next week (being organised by NWSS) - perhaps someone could ask him?

I'm more concerned by the team not leaving a player up for corners.

As lovely as it looks, on the basis that Tony B has promised that nobody would have a bad view, those back rows at the side can't see all the pitch so it would need to be angled in so there are fewer seats in a row near the back.

Struggling to understand that. Is it basically saying it wants the capacity of 30750 to removed if certain conditions can be met. The conditions look to be about 7 years old.l???

The sight lines for the pitch would be fine, although they wouldn’t be able to see a lot of the West Stand.

It's saying they can have extra seats if they sort out transport of those people.
