After all this time, hard to believe that all these good things are actually now OURS!

(oh, and that's supposed to be a genuine love smiley BTW, not some kind of stupid blushing/rolleyes hybrid as the smiley suggests)

I may try and take some more tomorrow, maybe more obscure stuff

Going to be hard to see then if we're just going to have lots of little screens as opposed to one big one, bit disappointed really...

For what it's worth, this is the spec for the screen at the Meydan Racecourse, Dubai, that the heir to the Bracknell title installed the software for last year:-

Sojitz and Mitsubishi install LED Diamond Vision screen at Dubai's Meydan racecourse

Date Announced: 28 Jan 2010

Sojitz Corporation and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation installed a Diamond Vision screen as one of the world's largest and widest video systems at Meydan Racecourse, which opened today in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Meydan Racecourse, a multipurpose facility with five-star hotel and museum as well as racecourse, has spectator stands totaling 1.6 km to accommodate 60,000 spectators, making this the world's largest racecourse. The Diamond Vision screen also boasts world-class proportions, measuring 107.52 meters by 10.88 meters for a total area of 1,169.8 square meters (registry as a Guinness World Record is pending).

The screen contains approximately 12 million high-brightness light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for spectacular high-definition images.

The Dubai World Cup, the world's richest, USD 10 million prize money, horserace and now preparing for its 15th running, will be held at Meydan Racecourse this March, attracting audience not just from the Middle East but from around the world.

Mitsubishi Electric's Diamond Vision has been installed in more than 950 locations worldwide, including Tokyo Dome and the new stadium of Dallas Cowboys.

In response to the rising demand for large-screen video equipment in commercial facilities, racecourses and sports stadiums, Sojitz and Mitsubishi Electric intend to continue pursuing orders in the UAE and throughout the Middle East.

Anyone else notice a few seats in the corner? Is it a cunning plan by the club, add a couple of seats a week and hope nobody notices :)

Disabled helpers I believe.

On the note of BETTING - I may have missed this, but which bookmaker will be at the Amex? Assuming it's a well known national bookie...?
