Because you were congratulating El Pres for posting it, and saying there needs to be more of it to get the message across.

Why would you want more of it to get the message across if you didn't think it would lead to a reduction in gun violence?
I really can't be arsed fella.

Have a lovely BH weekend.

You think El Pres posting that is going to lead to a reduction in gun violence in the US?

He should have posted it with a warning, so people have the choice whether or not to look. Some kids might use this site too.
It will be taken down by a moderator shortly.

Personally I am pleased @El Presidente posted it.

Anyone coming on a 'latest gun massacre in the US' thread not expecting to see pictures of the dead may be hoping for too much.

I come on this thread now for one thing only. To laugh at stupid Americans. I have zero sympathy, They have signed up to this gun ownership now and nothing, not even pictures of dead kids, will deter them. That is the absolute epitome of stupid. And there is only one response: to mock.

Oh, and thoughts and prayers. I'm sure god will save all the souls so why even miss a beat?

While I agree with the mocking of the brain dead Americans (whilst noting that most probably want tighter gun control), how can you not have any sympathy for young children murdered due to the stupidity of the adults in their country?

Maybe because it’s not been done before (or hardly) …..trying to educate the wrong audience?

Having said that I’m not against it….5..6 …10 …just numbers aren’t they….photos of actual bodies ..is the stark reality ..like the incident in Belgrade earlier this week.

Ffs its literally every few days a new one of these horrific events is happening. How can even the most pro gun rights American not feel guilt & shame over these things, & see that dramatic change is needed?!
They are very clear about this. That poster (probably now banned) based in Australia (that I have had on ignore so long I have forgotten his user name) has stated the same:

1. If you have a gun you must by definition be safer that being without a gun
2. It is a part of American tradition to possess a gun
3. Because the police are armed it is essential the public are also armed or it would be a police state

By the same logic, the best form of defense its attack.
And the best form of attack is surprise.
That's why I just smacked you over the head from behind with a metal cosh.

All completely logical, and only a Trained Marxist woke snowflake girly-man would argue otherwise.

But it's not difficult to have it hidden under a spoiler type warning, so you can click to see if you want to.

It isn't about sympathy. Of course I have sympathy for dead children. To me this is on a par with the pictures of dead and dying children in Africa, dead and dying because the adults are hell bent on shooting one another rather than farming and trading to feed their children.

In both places the adults are ALL ****s in my book. And the more pictures of dead kids shot in America circulating, just like the pictures of dying children in Africa (that lead to Live Aid, not that that did a lot in the long term, albeit some kids were saved) the better. Show the pictures. Let everyone see what 'another tedious massacre - yawn' really looks like.

Let the American ****s explain how these dead children are a small price to pay for the right to be a **** with a gun.

If you are going to constantly and knowingly take actions which put your children at risk of harm, injury or fatality, you really can't be surprised when quite a few die.

And for me, the photo is simply a representation. It's the act and the complete and utter lack of acknowledgement of responsibility for it that is really truly horrific

Of course, they're morons. But what if you lived there, were fully anti gun, and it was your children murdered? Should we have no sympathy for you or them?

I wouldn't move there and if I was born there I would emigrate and keep very quiet about my nationality

Maybe they should post images like this on the boxes guns come in…..like manky lung photos and cigarettes
Yeh mate wish they would - wasn’t expecting it though it’s genuinely upsetting to see ☹️

Yep if you're offended by seeing the result of a mass shooting - a thread about mass shootings probably isn't for you.
Im not offended offended.. It’s just all a bit too real innit… ESPECIALLY WITH A PIC OF DEAD KIDS - nothing more upsetting…

Also that’s a ridiculous thing to say - like saying opening a thread about a nonce you may see child sex abuse. I blame the cyclist mentality here.

Yeh no point arguing with eachother over opinions on a picture - the real issue here is the reality of what these morons who think it’s ok to have guns in their lives (in America particularly) are almost vindicating.

What gets me is the ripple affect. It's not just the immediate people that were killed it also touches and impacts the lives of the families, friends, work colleagues and communities which the people are from. When you take that into consideration its not nine people it's hundreds if not thousands of people affected.
