I'm no fan of the sport, but I think it's got to be worth going. You can always leave after an hour if you don't like it (or 5 minutes of play - whatever's quicker).

Can you drink in the ground?

If so, I'd probably go.

If not, I can't think of anythign more boring

You could at the last NFL game I saw live, but that was in 2001, although I wouldn't have thought it would have changed as the whole hooligan/alcohol thing isn't much of an issue stateside in relation to sports.

US Football is the dogs, you can't fail to enjoy the overall experience even if you're not that into the game itself. If, on the otherhand you're looking for boring.... try cricket

Yes you should go. Yes you can drink in the stadiums it costs an arm and a leg. Go for the pre tailgate parties and do your drinking there (bring your own). You may want to check up and see what rules (if any) apply to tailgate parties where the game is. I suspect as long as you are in the parking lot you can pretty much do what you like.

Drink service ends at halftime (I believe) so don't plan on buying anything in the second half.

I've only been to games in Buffalo but it's a good time.

Can't see the attraction myself. You know what your gonna get, you've seen it on telly, loads of yanks eating their way through a tedious afternoon that you'll have no passion for.Don't bother, I wouldn't even go to a top flight English football game let alone an American one.

I hate it when people talk about cricket like that.

If i were you i would disappear quietly into the background for a while. Society will place you just below rapists and kiddy fiddlers if you don't like cricket :shootself :lolol:

Ain't that the truth. A nation of overnight cricket fanatics who couldn't:
1. Tell a googly from google.co.uk
or
2. Stay awake for a full match
