I'm not entirely sure anyone has used the words "ethical forum" to describe NSC before...

That aside, I'm not puffing (putting?) Amazon as a preferred supplier. I completely respect the decisions made by anyone to shop there or otherwise, for any reason. However:

1. A lot of people, including many NSCers, do shop at Amazon.
2. Amazon runs one of the best, if not the best, affiliate schemes available to sites in terms of ease of implementation, reliability and payouts.

1 + 2 = it would be silly not to try and capitalise upon this at Christmas shopping time. Thanks for raising it though - no offence taken!

I know it costs hard cash to keep the site going but this can be an incredibly ethical forum when you read some of the issues discussed here so just thought I would raise the issue of puffing ( promoting ) Amazon given many of the recent revelations regarding the treatment of staff and delivery drivers. It seems that for price, range and delivery most of us are prepared to turn a blind eye to sharp practice if it saves a bob or two.
I can understand this as whenever I am advised to buy a free range organic Chicken for Sunday roast I have to say sorry Hugh/Jamie, not on my wages.

No money has been taken nor did they ask for ccv number.

My order says goods not dispatched, so do Amazon only take the money when the order is fulfilled?

Given this thread can anyone suggest a tablet from Amazon around £100 that would work with facebook games and simple browsing etc. I have a Hudl that works perfectly for this but they do not make them anymore but would like to order something similar this week. Many thanks
