My 10yr old grandson immediately starting saying ' ah Mario' in an Italian accent, Super Mario Brothers style, when he heard. Now I can't stop hearing it in my head when I see the name.

I'm surprised the minty thread has been active, but not this one. Looked execellent today.

Do we have any tame Arsenal fans on the forum to commiserate with?

I was charmed to hear over the Euros that Bakayo means 'adds joy' and wondered what Amario means. Apparently it means 'adds hypertension for left backs'.

(It actually means 'forever' or 'eternal'.)

Loan move confirmed by Naylor.

We don't see him training everyday I suppose, but from what I saw in the Japan friendlies I thought he'd be knocking on door of first team.

He was really good, albeit against lesser opposition.

Have to trust the process I guess, but hope its a promotion pushing ball playing team.

A little surprising but then only in the light of why he left Arsenal. We are so strong up front. I hope he is patient as he looks very good.
He wanted to go on loan from Arsenal, but they were refusing to arrange one for him unless he signed a new contract
He wasn't asking to be put in the first team, but he wanted more than academy football, if he didn't go on loan or change clubs, he would have been playing academy football for another year.

I think this young man has a very bright future with us. Right now though, I believe a move to the Championship would be perfect for him… Lets harden him up and get some Mens football experience for him. A good move for both parties imho

He is not going to get the required minutes competing with March, Minteh and Gruda.

He is astonishingly young and a good replacement at RW if we decided to take £70m+ for Minteh in the next two years.

A development loan is perfect. They’ll be serious competition for his signature in the Championship.
