Keep away don't fall into the remainer trap of clouding the fact that leave won the referendum

Made one post way back at the start of all this and never returned for the reason above.

Same.

The thread seems like it's in a time warp. They're constantly repeating themselves by continuing the same argument over and over again, but yet the thread has had more views than Katie Price has had hot dinners.

Someone seriously needs to post on the thread a video of Connolly's 2nd goal in hope it might unite them all.

It won't! There were quite a few arguments about that on here last weekend (don't think they made it on to the brexit thread though!)

This is obviously the pertinent question, because no, nothing is ever achieved.

Sometimes I'll pop on as an alternative to reading the news, to see if there's anything interesting that's happened, and what the alternative sides to the argument are, but it's just full of the same people repeating the same abuse at each other. It's really ****ing weird.

Well I’ve faffed around on it since the start - less these days - and I can’t recall abusing anyone. I ‘m not alone in that. Mind you, very cross Brexiteers have called me a bloodstained and moronic hypocrite and worse so I suppose you’re half right.

(Seriously though, while the thread has plumbed the depths from time to time it’s gone in the other direction too. )

Not alone, but I'd guess you're in the minority. Regardless, if some are being polite with something useful to contribute, they are drowned out by those who seem incapable of constructive dialogue.

It has from time to time been very informative, if only through Googling stuff because someone made a spurious claim. Between us we have actually found some common ground, it is now I think agreed by all participants to the thread, that Pastafarian was not making a joke when he revealed his bookmark Folders on a screen shot he posted.

Can't remember ever deliberately going on it. In fact I try to avoid most non-football threads on NSC (obviously not all of them as I wouldn't be posting this otherwise).

It is a very civil and amusing thread. There again I have around 20 regular posters on it on ignore. There's this one bloke called 'DP' who seems to post only on this thread and threads about immigrants and Nazis. He seems to attract a fair bit of attention (some of it medical). :lolol:

So many that post on there have second accounts.

Wouldn't it be great if the mods revealed them all?
They won't as I suspect there is a mod or two amongst them, I wonder if these 2nd accounters FAKE everything???

Sometimes when I think I've not really achieved anything in the day, that I have wasted a good chunk of time on something and got no where and I'm feeling a bit crap about it, I venture in there and realise that even if I stuck a toe out from under the duvet that morning I have achieved more than 99% of the content in that thread and I don't feel so bad after all.

I do wonder sometimes if the regular posters in there ever asks themselves, why the hell have I wasted so much of my life on this one pointless thread? Maybe they enjoy it, if they do then fair play to them. Far from my idea of fun though.

dunno I'm lost
Any thread that the bitter, nasty little shit Nibble is involved in I avoid like the plague.
