SO that they lose 10 points and make it easier for us to make it into the playoffs punk:

It feels like CHEATING when you hope another team goes into Admin just so your team can profit from it.

Would you feel the same if it was Pompey in the same position???

As gus says, if they are in the position to go into administration in the first place, they have tried to cheat the system by spending more than they are capable of covering, on the hope of success. A risk not worth taking in my eyes.

If they can't pay their way so be it but I wouldn't wish administration on any club for the sake of it.

I'm from the Diego Maradona Hand of God school of football - whatever helps your team. I'd have absolutely no issue with Birmingham City being deducted ten points and us benefitting.

You could argue they have cheated the system by making the two loan signings just before the deadline for submitting the audited accounts I believe as you are then under an embargo of signing players. Or you could just say they played the system.

Either way I would rather we get into the playoffs under our own merits

Isn' their situation slightly different in that they WOULD be able to cover their costs, if their owner Carsten Yeung hadn't had his bank accounts and assets frozen after being arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

I could be wrong, but I don't get the impression they have royally taken the piss on a Pompey scale by signing shedloads of players and paying them a kings ransom in wages.

Is the right answer.

I'd align myself to this school of thought, someone benefits from the misfortune of others, why shouldn't it be us.
