The Vale Park car park and main entrance is the road that carries on from New Church Road. So you'll come out at the cross road on Boundary Road where the banks are (near Athena B).

Already answered by others now I see. No cafe, but you're a stones throw from the wondrous PORKYS in Boundary Road.
You're also not far from my local pub, The Midway (just turn left at the western end of St Andrews Road which runs along the south side of the park). Nice little decking area out the back.
It's along the coast road. Keep heading east until you get to Roedean Cafe, then take a sharp 90 degree right and keep going for another 200 yards or so.
