Is this like one of those schedule tweets but the OP set the incorrect year to post it?
Might experiment with different options this season, see if I can trim it down a bit. Don't fancy my chances on a bike. Walk over Hollingbury golf course do you mean? Never thought of that one. May explore options on foot from Hollingbury Asda, there's frequent 5B buses go up there, although annoyingly few of them carry on all the way up to the Uni
Could you not get the 5b to ASDA and the 24 down to Coldean?Three hours in stadium (usually get there an hour before kickoff to swerve the most packed trains and buses). Instead of the rammed 25 bus I catch the 49 which involves a bit of a walk at either end, so that's an hour to an hour and a half each way. That's the thing about the Amex, it can take a very long time to go a very short distance.
Anyway, enough about me...
get an e-bike, 15min journey, minimal effort, get to the amex at 2.59
It'll still be 6 hours if kick off is 17:30.
Exactly! I live in Findon Valley and my average door to door over the last 10 years is aprox 5 hours over various different forms of transport *On the point of the 6 hours, I live in Lewisham and it’s about 6.5 - 7 hrs for me. My dad lives in Lindfield and it’s just over 4 hrs for him. There must be a quicker way from Preston Park.

The two STH next to me came to the first home game of the season last August. Never saw them again all season. Don't really give much of a shit about catching covid. Prob long overdue in my case. But guess what, all you shouty beered-up mask-free blokes on the concourses and on the trains. Guess where you and your family probably contracted covid? Oh well
So you’ve only been to 2 matches in 10 years and basically done nothing else in your life other than travel to those matches. I hope you saw some goals.
The empathy on this thread is astounding. Some of you just couldn’t wait to put the boot in.
Haha, yes edited now - 5 hoursSo you’ve only been to 2 matches in 10 years and basically done nothing else in your life other than travel to those matches. I hope you saw some goals.
Look at me, look at meee
Grow up
Cheers for that, tho I did sort of provide an open goal. Plenty of decent comments in here also, including some good practical suggestions as to how to whittle an hour or more off my ludicrously long round trip without any increased potential exposure to covid. So it's all good
