Went to an Alloa game a couple of months ago. One of the best terraces you'll ever see. Pies (including macaroni) and burgers for £1.50, homemade soup a quid. They were a bit unlucky as well, as they have been since, losing by the old goal here and there. The novelty of Michael Chopra upfront, who apparently can be seen driving a clapped-out car around the town.
On a personal and financial note it was a triumph as I was given a ticket by a man I asked for directions at a roundabout, who proceeded to regale me with the story of his life in a Bruce Springsteen tribute band. I had been planning to spend £30 going to watch McGhee's first game back at Motherwell, but couldn't be arsed to get up in time and thought the ground looked a bit soulless.
Alloa also have an enormous KFC on one side of the ground.
