"Sorry I couldn’t have been as loyal to you as you have been to me, but Ed Miliband had me on the run.”

There is one in the times tonight which I've not sen yet.

The above one is from a book about Cameron which is due out. Cameron, Practically a Conservative by Francis Elliott and James Hanning.

Since when did Ed Miliband ever have anyone on the run?

Its all part of this Leveson Inquiry, Cameron must be worried about what is going to come out because the Government got core participant status to see what was coming out.

Lord Justice Leveson grants permission to all eight government ministers who applied for core participant status, including the prime minister

Brooks is due to report to the Inquiry tomorrow (i think) and they are worried she may release some texts that Cameron sent her. He apparently used to text her 12 times a day!

Surely Cameron is no different to Blair who also probably texted her too. Miliband is going to come out of this very well I think.

Just far enough away from LDC
"Sorry I couldn’t have been as loyal to you as you have been to me, but Ed Miliband had me on the run.”

Suspending my disbelief for a minute that

a) a prime minister would ever say that about any opposition leader (especially Ed M) and

b) that they would say it in those tones

Does anybody think that having the Sun backing your party at the next election will be seen as a negative?

Think it depends if NI are still in charge of The Sun. But yes, if they are. A new ownership could potentially make a clean break of things.
