Just seen this thread on the West Ham forum - will be interesting to see if this is accurate tomorrow morning !

Birmingham v Millwall
Blackpool v Portsmouth
Brighton v Coventry
Bristol City v Hull
Doncaster v Burnley
Ipswich v Watford
Leicester v Cardiff
Middlesbrough v Derby
Nottm Forest v Peterborough
Reading v Leeds
Southampton v Crystal Palace
West Ham v Barnsley

Apparently these are the opening day fixtures, they just need to be ratified by the Football League.

Every year someone says that "they are in the know" and post the fixtures, and without fail, every year, they're wrong.

My bet is at least one of the three promoted clubs will be playing one of the three relegated clubs. I'm probably wrong, but I'm sure it often happens like that, but can't be bothered to check.

I'm sure you are right but will be curious to know if this has any substance behind it so will check back to this list tomorrow morning when they are officially announced. But have to say I've had a hunch it would be Coventry for us for a little while now !!!

Coventry would tick a few boxes. Easy win being the main one!

First day Dentures, surely one of the most bizarre threads ever?

This will be the preliminary drawing, just like they do for everything, and someones got hold of the fixtures, and claimed it. They won't be the fixtures tomorrow. Bank on it.

I think you're right. Probably just coincidence but it does often seem to happen.
