Like the man at the top said - you have just got to be there.

No excuses - if you're alive then be there

Ok, i'm for one, skint-broke, and even though i happen to be coming home for the weekend, i'd rather spend it with my family who i dont see very often now i'm at uni!

Phone your family, play on the fact that you are skint broke, missing going to Albion games etc etc and how much you love them. Then you can all go at their expense!

I'm tempted to go to the Gillingham game. Better atmosphere against a crap team we really ought to beat.

I think you miss my point, even if i am down, i don't really want to go, because not only do we play really badly when i go, the atmosphere is soul destroying. I end up feeling more depressed about the club in general when i do go. It's no longer fun to watch us play at home, and when you bear in mind i had a season ticket in the gillingham days, that's quite something.

I would turn down a free ticket, and i have.

I wonder how many of those who choose not to go (as opposed those who genuinely can't afford to or can't) will be back on here expressing an opinion after the game ?

Laura, that is SHOCKING
I know we're patchy, and I know that ultimately we won't finish in the top 6, but I can GUARANTEE the Orient game will be a CRACKER, and that it will result in 3 points for the stripes. Just ponce a ticket off your dad, he's got ALL the media connections now you know

Because I still go to away games. Withdean just doesn't EXCITE me anymore. I find myself getting extremely bored, and 99% of the times ive been to the home matches this season, I've wondered why!

Even when we have played well when I've been this season, the atmosphere is shocking. It's not that I don't support us any less, I just prefer to go to the away matches. That's not a crime!
