Jones - Carpenter - Reid - Piercy, seems a perfectly good midfield to me

according SCR we looked better with him on and the summariser couldn't understand why he was taken off.

As usual people on this board will target Jones cos it is easy.

I don't like running players down but Charlie is meant to be a hard man which he would be in a much lower level but, in Div 2, he is a lightweight who gets brushed off the ball easily. Sorry but great clubman that Charlie might be, we'd probably be better off with Dean Hammond.

it took piercy ages to get into the game yesterday. he didnt do much when he came on, and didnt look fit. he could be an asset, but on yesterdays performance no.

i want him to do well but does he deserve to get onto the team? maybe he does, but you cant rely on him because of his fitness.

the goal he scored, was it going off for a throw in before the deflection?
