Actually, games nearly always used to be on a Wednesday night when we were at the Goldstone to avoid a clash with the Greyhound Stadium meetings.

i seem to remember them being mainly wednesdays too but i may be wrong due to being lashed up on lager n lime:drink:

I think tonights may have been because there was a possibility we could have been playing Leeds and needed the extra day for admin/ticket sales after beating Derby.

Ok, so we didn't beat Derby but the matchday was set.

Just my guess, like.

Tuesday has less letters in it,thus making programme production cheaper.So ALL night games should be on Tuesday.

yer i think this was to give tickets and extra day and the city game was due to them playing on the sunday
