all ou northerners: alleyway cricket?

its well sunny up here, so we're gonna attempt alleyway cricket

round us are fairly standard 'billy elliot' style 'backs' just wider than a single lane on a road really

can be used for cricket yes? any TIPS? like, is hitting the wall worth anything? cos its not that far? surely theres no slogging and no ultra PACE bowling?

I am a veteran of authentic cricket. We used to play dorm cricket at school, which resulted in many broken light bulbs.

The best was car park cricket in Oxford. We broke a panel in our garden fence and would use the Blockbusters/Council car park, just off Cowley Road. The only advice I can give you, if you are using a tennis ball, is to put some sellotape on one side. Makes it much more interesting.
