Nothing beats that Orient one of 20 years or so ago (posts passim).

"That is the f*cking straw that broke the camel’s back, that is typical f*cking Leyton Orient,

You Sitt, ‘you f*cking too intense, nobody can talk to you, you’re this your that’. I never f*cking followed two good games up with a f*cking game like that. The reason I was f*cking intense was that I wanted to play well again.

But I’m wasting me breath on some of ya. I’m wasting me breath on some of ya.

What did I say to ya, about good players, they want to be good players all the time? Don’t you know how profound that is, are you’re not examining the f*cking words.

Because you’ve had two good performances and you think I’m ‘Bertie Big B*llocks tonight, I’ll f*cking play how I like.’

But you won’t play how you like, because if you play how you like, I’ll f*cking stick the youth team in. If I’m going to take abuse from a bunch of cockroaches behind me, I’ll take abuse by doing it my way.

And that is f*cking conformity, not f*cking non conformity.

So you, you little c*** when I tell you to do something, and you, you f*cking big c*** - when I tell you to do something, do it. And if you come back at me, we’ll have a f*cking right sort out in here.

‘And you can pair up if you like. And you can f*cking pick someone else to help you, and you can bring your f*cking dinner. Because, by the time I’m finished with you, you’ll f*cking need it. Do you fu*king hear what I’m saying or not?'

[To Terry Howard] You see me in the morning."

:lolol: Classic.

I thought it was quite interesting - mind you my wife is a bit of a Spurs fan so we had to watch it . Thought Mourinho came over as a bit of a dick throwing in the occasional swear word where it was not really necessary.
Thought Levy was a clone of Barber - certainly cut from the same cloth (not just in looks either).

Fantastically staged Piggle ???

Why is it all the clubs with the wankiest, most entitled fans fans play in white - Leeds, THFC, Real Madrid, Bishopstone Town?

I binged on the NFL ones over a summer. Admittedly I knew a lot less about the NFL than football so perhaps theat made it interesting but it seemed to me that they allowed a fair amount of access and included moments of sacking, defeats, bust ups etc. Really enjoyed them.

Interesting, as an American I found it the exact opposite. The NFL ones and Michigan one I found boring, but I also follow college football more than just about anyone as we live and breathe it in the south. I found both the City one and Sunderland one captivating, but it was basically the first time anyone over here has really been able to see the behind the scenes (except a little watched one about Rogers at Liverpool). It made me research just about all aspects of clubs over there including all of the training grounds.

I couldn’t get through the Leeds one though. The owner is interesting but I just found it boring and hearing Russell Crowe talk about Leeds kept confusing me.

The All or Nothing series are all the same. Just one long advert for whatever NFL/PL they're featuring. Very little substance or depth, just long drawn out scenes of... Nothing much really. But at least with the NFL ones you get a bit more entertainment from the players themselves, often pretty twatish entertainment, but much more than the PL ones. Christ top level footballers are dull these days, very little in the way of personality at the top clubs it seems.

Really enjoy the series, but felt the same re Leeds.

Love college football - Go Tigers!

They spend £850m on a stadium and they don't get Jose a remote control for the telly in his office?

The screen is actually dark before he pushes the button as well.. not a very good TV.

As it is obviously arranged I'm pretty sure the tv pundit-voice in post-production.

I have to disagree with those on here who preferred Sunderland Til I Die to the Man City one. I thought the Man City All or Nothing was utterly superb. Though I couldn't understand 60% of what Pep was saying, I was captivated by every second of it.

I didn't enjoy Season One of the Netflix Sunderland show - didn't have as much substance as Prime's City documentary and it irked me how they'd overlay the wrong highlights to whatever game they were supposed to be featuring. Season Two was leagues above and the chronicling of Donald and Methven was really, really good.

About to sit down and watch episode 3 of the Tottenham one. Second episode far better than the first, which was little more than a glorified Football Focus. I'm presuming that Amazon hadn't decided to cover Spurs until Mourinho took over, and thus why there was virtually zero of Pochettino in the dressing room? If that's not the case, surely it would have made fascinating viewing seeing what was going on in the dressing room? We all hark back to beating them 3-0, but what about when they got knocked out by Colchester United in the League Cup on penalties? That would have made cracking viewing - I was at that game and Spurs finished extra time with 2/3 of a full-strength squad. I think a week later/before was the Bayern spanking too.

EDIT: As for the American Football ones, I echo those who loved the Michigan one. I also really enjoyed the LA Rams edition, even if they did lose pretty much every game. Cowboys one was utterly soulless, Panthers one okay and Philly pretty good. I feel for Amazon as they haven't had much luck choosing a team that ends up making a good crack at the Super Bowl!

Watched episode 1 and I too was really disappointed that they seemed to go straight into Jose. Surely we are all watching to see Poch get the boot and take the slow walk from his office. Episode two was just as dull. In fact the only thing I remember was the toothpaste bit
1/ Do you put water on your toothpaste
2/ No I put water on the toothbrush then put on the toothpaste
1/ Don't you then put water on the toothpaste
2/ No, (asks third player) Do you put water on your toothpaste
3/ No nothing at all
1/ Must just be me

Sums it all up realy.

All or Nothing: (insert team name here)

What a lazy new format of programming this is, one that can rolled out worldwide with a minimum of effort or creativity like Big Brother or Real Housewives etc etc

It’s def. the new genre. And already boring. Watch Sunderland’s and leave at that would be my advice.
