Our biggest failing last year, for me, was our lumbering breaks from our forwards who are also expected to defend. The wingers would often arrive at the byline with not a soul to pass to in the box so had to go backwards. It got to the point where there was no mileage in breaking quickly. Our signings this year, have hopefully rectified that. Defensively we are pretty solid and we have also strengthened there too. CH has always liked a choice of wingers so if he thinks we need Ali, then we need Ali.

I am super impressed with our signings, on paper, so far. How they pan out we’ll soon see.
