He should have kept the massively overpriced and not actually that good iPhone X. Getting a 7+ covered in diamonds would be a bit like driving an "R Line" Golf. Which clearly isn't an R, or a GTI, or a GTD. Just a standard car with an embarrassing badge.

But not as embarrassing as paying a fortune to have an Apple on your phone/monitor/laptop obviously.
