Alien Life On Philae Comet

The thing is, will we ever really see alien life? If a planet does have life on it, it will most likely be millions of light years away. So if we look at this planet right now we would be seeing them in their very earliest forms, possibly as amoeba. The same would be if they were looking at us and seeing extremely early humans, or flowers as the major life form on Earth.

Soylent Green was set 50 years in the future when it was made in the early 70s, but that meant "2022", which is now only a few years away. Having seen it again recently, it may be a bit hammed up in places, but some of the general themes - giant corporations controlling the food we eat (and lying to us about it), overpopulation, government control of the masses, euthanasia - have become closer to scary reality and more relevant now than they ever were back then.
