It was obvious we weren't going to score, nothing wrong with throwing on fresh legs to help see the draw out. And yes, I think Ali is as useless as you do.

I get the whole fresh legs thing but we were on top and threatening constantly. Just think another sub, a bit earlier, might've changed the game.

Dont get me wrong, I'm happy with a point but it's very frustrating

Why not? Would rather Mac as he’s been class but... why not?

AJ is arguably the best shot in the matchday squad, why he doesn't get at least ten minutes is beyond me.

The game was there for the taking IF we had a decent striker on the pitch. . . . Or a player who can pick a spot and hit it within a quarter of an hour of seeing it.

Why???

I assume because he is regularly the best or one of the best at shooting in training. Whilst his all round game is not as good as many others, there are few lads in the squad I’d prefer taking a shot than him.

Why, why not. He is a decent footballer, some clear and obvious weaknesses that will keep him out of the eleven, but with some specialist traits that can win you games.

I get the whole fresh legs thing but we were on top and threatening constantly. Just think another sub, a bit earlier, might've changed the game.

Your first sentence is explaining the second one. When you are dominating and creating chances, you dont really want to sub too early because it might change the game.

Why? 20 odd times and nothing comes of it, ever.

I love GP but his subs, and the times he makes them, infuriate me.

Why? Because the starting players hadn’t unpicked the Everton defence in 85 minutes?

It's unfair to keep slinging Ali J on with a few mins to play. He's got a decent shot and energy. If Potter decides to put him on it should at least be for 10/15 mins.

He’s often crap. But then so are many others. A late gamble, worth a go give his team mates couldn’t score if they were still out there now.
