He may not have split defences with his passes but what albion player can do that apart from paul reid?! At least he didnt constantly pass to a player on the other team...

That's because he always left any remotely demanding pass to his team-mates. Didn't take responsibility but offloaded it.

He may not have been the best player but he is way better than St Albans. We could have done with him this season, as cover for Chippy and Hammond.

What a waste of a player especially as Reid is out now.

he was one of the best loan signings i have seen when he came down on loan, did he not pick up a nasty injury not long after he signed. i know it may make the club look stupid but could we offer him a deal

No I think you'll find its called just playing the simple pass. Amazing where that can get you in a game rather than the 40 yard hoofs from Carpenter.

We should of kept Nicolas at the end of the season, because he was one of the best midfielders we had at the club, just never given a big enough chance by Mcghee.

He is so much better then Conference Football.

Yes, that's right, so simple that you don't get anywhere on the pitch but just play your own players into trouble.

Similar to Carpenter stitching mayo and frasier up on so many occasions last night?!

I can't talk about last night as I wasn't there, but Carpenter is a leader who takes responsibility for our play, that's why he's playing league football and Nicolas isn't. I can certainly accept he hit bad passes and was rusty given he's just come back from illness, what I'll never believe is that he stepped back and expected the likes of Fraser and Mayo to make the running in our play. That's what I saw too often from Nicolas.

Well the sooner we clear him out the better, poor guy looked totally off the pace last night. As for Nicholas Im shocked to be honest, how can a player make it to chelsea first team level and then be playing for st albans in such a short space of time?! He even appears to have a very good attitude... baffles me!

Why is so surprising? Loads of players go through the big club's youth systems and end up nowhere. Agreed, his attitude was first class, and for that reason I hope he does an Alex Revell and get back into league football at some point soon.

He actually made first team appearances though, and was highly thought of by Ranieri by all accounts. I cant think of anyone who has had such a fall recently.

IT'S CALLED McGHEE F.....G HIM UP.
He wanted to go on loan last season or be allowed to leave so he could play, but appartenly MM kept saying that he wanted him and would not let him go.

He had a niggling ankle injury for a lot of the time he was here.

Yes, its all MM's fault that Nicolas couldn't pass the ball in a forward direction. :shootself

I guess so.

It was also MM's fault that Rotherham and Bradford thought he was gash too. He hypnotised their respective managers, and made them decline to offer him employment.

Probably.
