He doesn't have the balls to drop Webster so shoehorns White into midfield.

Webster is so uncomfortable on the left side, would like us to bring in a good ball playing left sided centre back that is better than Dan Burn. I would say Tyrone Mings but Dan Burn is better than him. Think White is completely wasted in Midfield and I’d rather see him bring him back into CB and put alzate in Midfield, the midfield tonight lacked creatively when we have someone else playing in the CAM role and a deep lying playmaker deeper.

I'm pretty sure Potter got some wet dreams about a left-footed central defender as well, just like any manager playing with three cbs. And then White came and made that very difficult. The next cb the club signs for the first time is unquestionably going to be left-footed.

We’ve got about 50 at the club one of them has to be left footed. I believe Roberts is possibly.

He is, and Matt Clarke as well. Dont know about the Dutch guy. Not sure that any of these are going to be the answer in the end however. Haydon Roberts is 175 centimeter and will be required to be exceptional in his reading of the game if he is going to have a career as a central defender, and that takes a lot of years to develop.

Matt Clarke... I have no idea. Probably a fair chance that we will see him one day but I'm not going to tattoo his name on my face just yet.

The Webster signing was Potter's choice and he won't drop him. He's been "ok" so far but no way anyone else would pay £20m+ for him.

As for MacAllister I bet he's questioning his decision to come to BHA.

I doubt it given that the average PL wage is about 10x that of the Argie top division.

I take it that he's still self-isolating. If Lallana's not playing, we need him in the team - we were sadly lacking a creative spark last night

Nope, he's been back in training for a few days - this pic from the gallery posted on the website last Thursday:-
