I'm not convinced his qualities are 'terrier like'. He's more a ball player than a tackler. Closer to Modric than Makelele in my opinion. He just looks terrier like because of the ginger beard.

He's statistically one of the best tacklers in Europe this season and his interception stats are right up there too.

He's turned into a ball playing ball winning midfielder.
