Put this on the MC thread earlier…..it’s laughable.

I'm starting to think people are just writing articles saying Chelsea have offered random amounts of money for literally anybody.

Oh FFS Boehly ................. £250M (cash up front) for the pair of 'em - plus Colwill. Piss now or get off the pot!

Still would rather they didn't go to nouveau riche chavs like Chelsea, wannabees like Spurs, or eternally entitled never won a promotion in their miserable lives like the Arse - but hey, if we coud bankrupt any one of them ........... how great would that be!

Dry your eyes Todd and get your recruitment team to actually get off their arses and do some actual scouting instead of trying to buy Garth's team of the week players, which I guess explains your current league position.

So you don't suspect that at least some of this is random click bait nonsense?
Given I could say the same about most transfer rumours I guess it's not really a worthwhile line of enquiry.
I think both can be true, and very probably are.

If it was a written proposal, let’s hope Barber wiped his arse on it first.

We’re really meant to believe that supposedly offering half what the club “wants” for Caicedo, they then offer the same for Mac. A player who’s just been key to his country winning the World Cup with the potential to be a high goal scorer from midfield. Yeh - we’re going to value him that much lower than Moises. Ridiculous.

If it’s true, it’s such a blatant attempt to unsettle our players with pathetic bids to force a move, I hope we won’t even deal with them. Let’s get some serious clubs round the table if we really have to sell.

Just how much is Winstanley being paid to say:-

'there's a lad a Brighton we should buy'?

According to 1 report Chelsea looking at 27 million (rated) World Cup winner Ali Mac! 27 million?? Where do these hacks get their figures from!🤣🤣🤣
That is bizarre. I’m not in the know. I know little of finance, less of employment contracts and more or less nothing about the back room dealings of transfers and even I can see that number seems… a bit low.

I think any random journo can link any highly rated expensive player to Chelsea at this point. Make up a value. And bobs ya uncle free clicks.

Most people will take as gospel.

Chelsea can spend whatever they want and their lawyers will bog this down and eventually It’ll all go away for next to nothing.
