Encouraging, but i can't say that a midfielder who nobody has heard of and wasn't good enough for Ipswich is going to bring the crowds back.

Still, better than nothing! And 7 hours to go...

Rejected by Rotherham at the start of the season, hasn't played this season as far as I can see!

21st July 2006 Rotherham United boss Alan Knill has handed a trial to former Nottingham Forest man Eugen Bopp. The former Northern Ireland international has also decided not to pursue any more interest in fellow trialists Alexis Bertin, Mehdi Meniri and Indridi Sigurdsson

Absolutely. I've always thought our central midfield is our biggest weakness. Hammond is the only one who is anywhere near league standard. At last, this could be a decent partner for him.

It might give some support to Frutos as well.

Well more support than Frutos cringeing in embarrasement when Santos used to pretend to be a footballer...

We need a tought tackler in the middle of the park

It sounds like we've got one - this COULD be an excellent signing. Good work.

Since when has our midfield been strong:nono: :nono: :nono: We need a tought tackler in the middle of the park as it will free up Hammond who plays so much better when he is an attacking force instead of a defensive one.

It is his best position and for the most part he has been very good there.

maybe a 3 in midfield with 3 up front is the way Wilkins sees the team

------------Hammond-------------

--Robinson-----------Cox--------
-------------Gatting (at moment)
