Alex Revell gave 100% every time he played. He may not have been prolific but created a fair few chances and never spat his dummy out. He was unlucky to break his leg and I suspect this will be one step to becoming one of Southend's better players.

Saw Swindon play Wolves last week. They move the ball around well and would probably have nicked the win if only they were a bit more mobile around the penalty area (although their number 25 was very good). Revell will fit in well there.

4 goals in 43 games?? I suppose that just confirms that we got the best out of him on the pitch and off it by selling him when we did.
He wasn't the greatest player but I will never understand why some people want to slag him off. It seems effort and making the most of what ability you do have is a bad thing? It's not as if his record for us was bad, and when he played his performances were usually not bad either. You'd always get a 6/10 performance from him just because of his workrate.
