What I do not understand is if as suggested the deal was agreed with Spurs and personal terms with the player yesterday why wasnt the players contract for the FL signed yesterday and all the ' formalities' of the transfer completed today

Was under the impression that he hasn't agreed personal terms, hence he's looking at other offers? Wouldn't be surprised to see him talking to Newcastle when he realises what Norwich is like.

CH left Spurs in 07 with Jol, Pritchard joined in 09 from West Ham.

That was 9 years ago, Pritchard is 23, I am not sure what a first team coach would be doing coaching the u14s even if the paths did cross.

Personal terms were discussed.
At this point the agent knows what's on the table, and touts the player to try to get a better deal for player (and himself).
