Colin is one year younger than Roy, so his appointment would obviously be a progressive, ambitious and long term investmentColin Wanker managing Palarse?

There is no clay he would go. If it happened, anyone who had a bet would make a kiln.
If only Mat Sadler was manager of Walsall.Apart from Mark Robins managing Cheltenham or Swindon will this be the only chance of the managers name and club nickname aligning to such a perfect degree?
Unless he had pot.Potter to the Potters would be potty but wouldn't leave Potter Potless
Arsenal with Arsene Wenger
I think we have a winner here, you can close the thread down nowScunthorpe would be more appropriate.
That's brilliant! If we're doing this, I'll see your Arsene at Arsenal and raise you one Wolfgang Wolf, manager of German side Wolfsburg between 1998 and 2003.
Frome Town also the robinsOr Bristol City?
What is it with south west teams and robins?
GPott needs to build up his street cred again, & to do that l think a Championship club might be ideal for him, provided he is given the time to build his own squad.Hasn't he turned down other offers because he's waiting for an EPL club. Stoke would be beneath him.
Stefan Kuntz might have had enough of managing Turkey by the time Roy has been put out to pasture againColin is one year younger than Roy, so his appointment would obviously be a progressive, ambitious and long term investment
I think you're right. But he needs to choose the right Championship Club who have a Chairman who will back him financially. I think Birmingham City would have been perfect for him instead of Rooney. I can see them starting to spend money in the next few years and Rooney will squander that money.GPott needs to build up his street cred again, & to do that l think a Championship club might be ideal for him, provided he is given the time to build his own squad.
He would be less in the limelight, no big time Charlie's ruling the dressing room, and it was whilst he was at smaller clubs, Ostersund, Swansea, and Brighton that he acheived a fair degree of success. When he decamped for the bright lights of Chelsea it all went pear shaped for him.

Personally. I think Potter will aim for the big bucks and go to Saudi. Not sure what his " "compromise agreement " with Chelsea was but I expected him to be in another job by now. The fact that he isn't. Tends to suggest that his settlement is in tranches and that payments might be contracted to cease if he takes another job before their natural cessation date.
This guy's available to take over from Hodgson?Apart from Mark Robins managing Cheltenham or Swindon will this be the only chance of the managers name and club nickname aligning to such a perfect degree?
That took me straight back to memories of John Motson (end of this video).
