Alex Frutos Up Front?

According to SCR, Frutos will be making his first start of the season today, partnering Alex Revell up front.

Is this a Virgo-esque shrewd move from McGhee? Will it turn out to be a total farce? Have SCR misread the team-sheet and Revell is on his own up front with Fruty in his usual place wide on the left?

Discuss...

I truly can't believe this. Our manager is definitely an olive short of a pizza.

Colinpants - you're right. Sheer desperation (and complete fuckwittedness)

This has topped it for me. McGhee is a complete and utter w*****r. I say again, our manager doesn't know what the f*** he is doing.

I think Loft has looked god whenever I have seen him.

I am not completely against the idea of Frutos playing a more forward role. We know that his strength is not in defending and he is very good at out running and running at players. This could be a master stroke if true.... ;)

wherever the money is
But if Frutos is our qickest player then mhy not have him up front to feed off of Revell. He can also hold the ball up at his feet and bring the midfield into the game so not a bad idea and well worth a try in my book.

I've got to say I love your persistent optimism but surely even you must be beginning to think our manager is a total buffoon?

Didn't we start at Rotherham with Cox up front? I think the best way to pick up points on the road is to hit teams on the break and defend solidly. We have included our fastest, so until it fails miserably I will try and keep my spirits up.

Now they're saying that Frutos is in fact on the left, wish they'd make their minds up
