Yeah some bitterness there, but also saying what most people have said all season about West Ham.

It's got them out of this league and back to the Premiership though so I think their fans will look at it as a means to an end. Be interesting to see if they keep playing that way now they're up though.

Big Sam will no doubt get the chop come Xmas time, but having served his purpose and getting a decent payoff - both parties will be pretty happy

The Remark about them being a London team seemed a bit strange, other than that I agree with him. I hope they are down by Xmas.

Spot on, but its worked for them. Blackpool had chances to score, and if you don't take them.....!

Given that West Ham finished 11 points above Blackpool and beat them 4 - 0 and 4 - 1, even if Blackpool where the better team on the day I'm not convinced that you can say Blackpool deserved to go up. Really don't get the London comment.

West Ham put together a squad to get them out of this division - job done.

But I would have to agree that it doesn't look close to a Premiership side. They have got a group of players together who are just about to big and strong for this division, but essentially, players like Cole, O'Neill, Taylor and Nolan are with Wet Sham because no-one in the Premiership particularly wanted them. They need to strengthen all over the park in my view.

Totally agree - I can see them struggling.

When fat Sam was just a boy
He kicked a ball up in the air
It flew away from everyone's reach
Landing on a faraway beach
His teamates dreamed of the beautiful game, but instead they got
Alla-alla-allardyce, Alla-alla-allardyce
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Alla-alla-allardyce
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

What will also be interesting is what players want out when new signings push them too far down the pecking order. If they add a couple of strikers, then Baldock and Maynard won't even be making benches.

How about Henri Lansbury on loan to us next season? I bet Arsenal weren't all that impressed with the football he was asked to play at Wet Sham last season, and not as regular a starter as they'd have liked either.

Said at the weekend that Baldock maybe worth a little bid from Gus, can't see him featuring in the Prem too often

Spot on and sours grapes - when you play a game such as this you want to win first and play stylish football 2nd

Absolutely 100% this. People slagged off Chelsea for the way they played against Barca, and to some extent the way they played on Saturday.

BUT. They are European Champions, so who in the club, or any of their supporters, really gives a shit about what others say about the way they played.

Playing stylish football isnt a luxury that is afforded only after you have hoofed your way into a lead.

Ok, but Chelsea didnt beat Barcelona because of achieving 20% possession and creating very few chances.
