We do like to take our time with these things so perhaps it's no surprise we haven't heard anything yet. No doubt everything is in hand and the route to Premier League survival is being mapped out quietly and confidently.

Maybe hes isn't even in England? Naylor hasn't mentioned him at all. Probably another bullshit rumour.

How many goals has he scored since he's been with us? How many times has he thrown himself down pretending to have been fouled? Yes, he's good at set pieces but we need more than just a one trick pony. A division one player at best but a waste of wages.

Which division one?

division one prior to the formation of the premier league or after wherein it's the championship?

Have heard we expected to sign another right back last week who was over 21 and would have been part of the 25 man squad. No chance with that player now but it could be a bit of a bonus if the Czech lad is up to standard and doesn't require a squad place.

Makes sense.

Ties in with the 4 signings needed to make up the 25, and also with the story that we are priced out of british signings. Things move and change quickly.

It sounds as if the rightback we'd lined up was too expensive and now we are assessing Ales instead. The significant bonus being that he is under 21. Let's hope he impresses enough to be a first team signing.

We were expecting/hoping to sign Joe Gomez.

Assume all the medics were at Carrow Road yesterday so today would be the medical etc..expect this one to be part of the noise from Marsh Barn Lane today..
He's played Champions League football so no need for a U23 development.

Argus reckons that is where he will start. Seems like a lot of money for a development player!!

Don't think he would need to be named in the 25 man squad unless I've misunderstood the aging criteria.

Yes all round from me. 6 months or so to bed in and then push on. We need a talent there but not immediately unless he really does shine.

I agree with that. We have Bruno and Liam who play at RB, and I believe Connor can cover that too. Give this lad a few months experience with the development squad and then he's ready to sit on the bench/substitute if necessary.

One would think so, who goes from Champions League to development squad....

Hang on....

If anyone can make that happen we can.

Quite. :D But hopefully not. Looks a very good player.
