Once the cat's out of the bag there's no point trying to stitch up our own local journo by denying it. Also, it's in our interests to release details as it unsettles both the player and the Toon army.

Likely scenario is that we made a bid, they knocked it back demanding outrageous sum, we now move on to other targets.
