I didn’t see it but I love players who take the piss out of the opposition on scoring. Standout one was that blond guy at Orient who ran down the length of the stand full of Albion fans at Brisbane Road, with his hand cupped over his ear. Oh how we laughed.

Funnily enough I wasn’t overly impressed when we re-signed the chimp faced goon in the Championship.

His apology and begs for forgiveness never quite rang true.

The whole game was spoiled anyway by Adkins ordering the Southampton team NOT to do us the honour of the “honour guard” at the start (we were already champions at that point) because he didn’t agree we were “better”;than his team.
