And werent the police very helpful as well.

I thought they were very helpful that day as they let us out the home end just before we took a kicking and then very kindly put us in our end, to the disgust of those hampshire scummers!

5 minutes from the station? Only if you are hopping and you jump back 1 step in every 5!

True, but in the rare times I bother risking going into the former squaddie bomb site that is Aldershot, a slightly longer route via the Funky End normally ends up happening. As much as Farnham used to bore me to drink it was a lot better than Aldershot.

I was in the kebab shop next to Shooters when it all kicked off. Most of the pubs contents ended up on the street I think.

Awful place.
Always has been.
Old enough to remember seeing Albion at the Rec(right name!!)
in the 1970's when Lord Ward scored
Don't know about leaving my car at night in the worst town in
Hampshire?

I'm having trouble with the links, but if you Google "Aldershot Hooligans"you get 3 pictures of the unrest.

I was actually in Shooters itself 'cause I'm well hard me.

Well actually, I went with a few mates, some of whom were Aldershot supporters. Very surreal being in an away pub when its all kicking off with Albion outside.

Anyone remember the ambush on the pub full of Albion up at Peterborough in the early 80's?There was no exit at the back of the pub and loads of Peterborough came wading in.Bastards.Kicked off after the game too.Maybe i was a bit naive, but i wasn't expecting any trouble there, it's not like they had a reputation.
