FG's memory astonishes me: I was at the Millwall, Aldershot and Gillingham games and remember very little about them. I do remember that Kinnear's performance against Millwall was one of the worst I've ever seen by a Brighton full back - his ineptitude and lack of interest still sticks in my mind over 30 years later.
I must have left the Aldershot game before the crossbar broke - I was with my dad so I suspect we made a sharp getaway to get the car - but I don't remember a missed penalty either. I don't know how FG does it - I struggle to remember matches from three months ago.
