Glad to see some love for Bob Vylan album. It is very much in contention for my favourite record of the year. For me, the obvious ones off the top of my head that are missing include Loyle Carner, Fred Again, Franc Moody, Bob Vylan, The Comet is Coming, Jamie T, Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn, Working Men's Club, Khruangbin and Leon Bridges, Gabriels...and Arcade Fire, though I guess they've been cancelled.
I saw them at The Great Escape, in Coalition. Incredible gig.Glad to see some love for Bob Vylan album. It is very much in contention for my favourite record of the year.
Was lucky enough to see them at 2000 Trees in July. Smallest tent was rammed 10 minutes before they were due on and it was an absolute rager of a performance. Also have a ticket to their sold-out show at the Electric Ballroom at the start of next month, which will be a fine way to cap off my year in terms of gig going.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Suede album, having been recommended it by a colleague, I did come into it thinking it would be another old band forcing out a below par album so they could get the tour money, but it was really good.Strange not to see Suede's album Autofiction on that list, also loved Porcupine Tree's Closure/Continuation.
Yeah the only one for me that would appear in my top albums list is Kendrick Lamar.Coming from the heavier end of the spectrum music taste wise, very few of those on the Rough Trade list appear in my AOTY list. Having said that, Rina Sawayama's record is a rare exception as a pop record that has cut through to me and will be in my Top 10. Like the Nova Twins and some of their songs are absolute earworms, but their record was completely fine.
Like @jackalbion, I will probably will end up posting a Top 30 in a few weeks once a couple more albums I need to listen to that could crack it are out, though could easily go into the 50s if I wanted to.
