Superphil and myself have decided if it's Rix we will seriously think about handing in our season tickets - WE DO NOT WANT HIM, for all the obvious reasons.
RIX IS SCUM AND THATS A FACT IT BETTER NOT BE RIX I WILL BE DISGUSTED AND SO WILL THE FAMILY SECTION OF THIS CLUB Silent is a family uncle and cant homnestly belive even he is that stupid to appoint Rix even though he'd be on a cheap deal their
rix,no way,i think if we get him, their would be alot of unrest, these r just rumours end of,but knight would have already sounded people out and i cant beleive rix is one of them,i like others would not be happy
I've said this before but it shouldn't be someone from within the club. We've had two disasters, we don't want a third.
Whoever it is, they're going to be under pressure to deliver automatic promotion. At the start of the season I think most of us would have settled for a play -off place but now we should expect to go straight up.
Rix has no track record, Cotterill plays terrible football and can't speak properly and Tony Adams would be a big gamble. So who is there with a proven record of getting teams promoted, working with no money and with knowledge of the division? Tricky one.
it has to be DEAN WILKINS but wot i wanna know is when are the club gonna announce something silent said he has a manager lined up so more lies or is this true IMHO i think he was speaking his usual ****
1. Contacts
2. Leadership
3. Loyalty
4. Drive and hunger
5. Experience of management on a shoestring
6. Experience of managing in Div 2
6. Playing experience at the highest level
7. No need for big compo payment.
Dowie is the only man who fits the bill. The only sticking point may be tactical nous, which was Coppell's forte.
" Deano has good record as player and manager though and he is loyal Albion wot more do you want?"
Good managers don't necessarily make good managers do they?
And when has Dean Wilkins managed a club? Did I miss something? Running the youth team is hardly the same is it?
Football Genius - Dean Wilkins was great for us as a player and is undoubtedly a fine youth team coach. But we've had two insiders as managers in the past few years and both were disasters so we mustn't go down this road again. We need someone with a proven track record and Wilkins just doesn't fit the bill.
I hope it not Rix, we can do better. I remember when Hoddle was at Swindon, he turned a long ball side into a passing side, but methinks he will be too expensive.
I think Kinnear could do a good job. Also I'll throw Lou Macari's name into the hat. He's been out of the game a while but still has plenty of contacts and tactical nous.
I do NOT want to see Hinch anywhere near the bench on Saturday!!!.
