At last, back to our winning ways. Great that Barnsley and Bristol CIty failed to win. Shame QPR and Plymouth won, they've both started to show some consistency.

2 great goals, the rest of the game was very average

Special mention to the officials, who collectively were dreadful

We had definate penalty claim in first half injury time when Leon was pushed in the back, and both linesmen were crap, more than just a few dodgy off-side decisions given

Good win, two great goals - why wasn't Mark Yeats man of the match ? He was superb today.

Mark Yeates was mom by a country mile. Cullip was much better than he has been, but no way mom.

Kerry and Jones are weak links. I hope McGhee is working on competition for their places. Kerry is too slow and was left for dead and where the hell does Jones actually play? Is he supposed to cover Kerry or just run around like a headless chicken?

Great result and easy to see why Wrexham have done well away from home. They play some neat football but were woeful in front of goal today.

Looking much better

I thought it was quite an enjoyable game and we always looked like we were going to win. Yeates played very well, as did Carpenter. We looked solid at the back and I think El Abd has to be first choice right back now. Over all 7 out of 10 and the sort of performance that should maintain our promotion challenge.

Lots of positives today.

Firstly, MOM was Leon Knight, easily the classiest player on the pitch, a constant threat.

Honourable mentions go to Yeates who gives our midfield balance and a bit more creativity, El-Abd who looked fairly solid, and Cullip, who looked up for it today.

The best thing about today was the obvious improvement in defensive organisation and collective hunger to regain possession. I thought Carpenter and Jones both did a great job of helping out the defence.

A good result and nice to see a committed effort.
El-Abd looked very good and should definetely stay in the side and the midfield and defense played well.
Its a shame Piercy got injured as Hart looks as crap as ever and deserved to be dropped today.

Was Denis Smith at the same game as me?

"Wrexham manager talks bollocks"

He seems to think that it will take some convincing that the better side won! Is he mad?

On another note, did anybody notice that the Wrexham Team Bus was in fact the Bolton Wanderers' team bus, complete with the huge BWFC logos and livery? That must have made the Wrexham players feel good-driving around in another club's bus.???

What was Carpenters goal like , I heard from my mum that on the radio , they were going

"it's going in, it is going in Oh Wow it is in "

Was itr really excellent ?

The reason I wasnt htere was : I was one of the assistant referee at Wealden Vs. Haywards Heath Town, where the score was 3-0 to Wealden. It pissed with rain over there so I expect it was wet over at withdean.

I got absolutely soaked and it was cold.

I :nono: hate rain.

hey ive just passed the 100-post barrier !! hey hey.

Best described as a job done. Nothing spectacular, but three points well earnt in difficult conditions. Two well taken goals from Piercy and the Kent pikey either side of half time. Some of Wrexhams build up play was pretty at times, but luckily for us they rarely threatened in front of goal. Special praise for El Abd who looks like a clone of Piercy. For a young lad he seems to have plenty of confidence, not afraid to yell instructions at his seniors. Piercy was having a good game until he went off injured. Not before time, he appears to have found some form. mark Yeates also had a useful game.

Not pretty, but we'll take the three points.

Also nice to see the comment "super surface to play on" as I imagine the turf has taken a pounding with the rain in recent weeks. Better than the mud baths we're use to :)

If you only do one thing today, make sure you tape Soccer Sunday. Not just for two quality goals - Gyppy's in particular was a gem - but for the ongoing 'Andy Steggles, Hes A Wanker' scenario. By the time they'd edited out all the comedy abuse lobbed in Stegglo's direction, they'd have had to call it Soccer Thursday... :lolol:

No shouting at Steggles about what he dose in bed, But Krispies was shouting the Portsmouth score to him.

Mom, for me was Carpenter. If he had a stinker, some bright sparks may well got to him after that Argus interview. MM I belive is getting some new ideas across, like passing to one another.

The fact that there have been 4 different mom nominations from the official one to those on here, shows that Mcghee has got us playing as a decent team again.
