We played well today but so did Peterborough.

Best team bagged the 3 points but I do feel sorry that Peterborough are where they are in the league.

My man of the match was Ben Roberts

Yes, right result, but we'll have to play a lot better to get to Cardiff.

Agree with the comments about Virgo and Harding. They haven't looked so solid for the past game or two.

Reid was good without being outstanding. The best displays were Roberts, Cullip, Butters and Carpenter.

Referee was crap.

I thought we passed it a bit better today. And Peterborough looking to attack made for a bit more of an entertaining game than Rushden.

I thought we looked a little lethargic in the first half, and didn’t made great use of the wide positions. Thought Peterborough maybe shaded the first half.

Second half I think we improved and created a number of good opportunities, and it was a shame we could not get that second goal.

I thought Knight chased and harried well today. Reid looked fairly good, and with some match fitness should be an asset. Iwelumo played well. Cullip was solid and much improved on Monday. I thought Chippy had one of his poorer games, but I guess everyone can have an off day. I was a little surprised that having played distinctly average at times, and still getting picked that when Jones does get a MoM performance (like against Rushden), he still gets dropped for the next game.

Ref was again poor. Lots of petty decisions and didn’t let the game flow.

I think overall it was an improved, if not great performance and we deserved to win. That said if I was a Peterborough fan I might feel a little disappointed not to have snatched a point.

satisfactory performance against wat i thought were a decent hard working team but will av 2 rise 2 another level in the play offs! didnt think harding or virgs had great games ever but they were steady and id rather have them any day over watto and kerry!! come on u super seagulls!!

Ok-ish performance today. Workmanlike rather than spectacular. Paul Reid had a reasonable game without being outstanding. He does seem to lack pace at the moment though. Leon had a better game today. Iwulumo continues to look good up front. His flick on's and support play always cause defences problems. Again, today he was effective without being spectacular. A satisfactory result from an average game on an ordinary day. I'm off to sit on the fence in my mediocre garden... ???

Thought Reid was ok, but didn't push up too quickly which didn't give chippy an option on the right. Couple of times there was lots of space for him to move into but he held back. That said, he used the ball well when he got it. No way MOM though!

Thought Jonesy did well when he came on, same for Harty.
Big Chris played well up front, held it up well today.

Danny Cullip played his usual rock solid game!

Am I the only pessimist going to Bristol who doesn't expect us to get anything?

Up the Albion!!!

I was quite happy with today's performance, we have won a lot of home games just lumping it forwards but today I thought with Reid, Piercy and Chippy we managed to knock some good passes together, in the first half the final ball was all that lacked the great approach play. Reid looked a good ball player although lacked in pace and tackled although for starter was a good show.

The first game i can remember in a long time where we actually look capable of playing football.

Regards back four, agree fullbacks were poor, Butters seemed to struggle especially first half but captain Cullip was immense.

As for the long throws.........F*** me, half way line to penalty box????

Referee was poor, whistle happy....summed up when Roberts was hat only can be described as assaulted and ref only gave it after linesman flagged who was at least double the distance of the ref.

More in hope than expectation here too, but what a fantastic way to clinch the play-offs if we get a result, eh? That's why it's a big game and I hope we get a huge crowd going.

Ref fu...... awful. Reid looked good, obviously not match fit, but should improve in time for the play offs. It's amazing we have more mid fielders to choose from now!!
Thought Big Chris worked his socks off, and Knight was a lot better today. I agree Virgo and Harding haven'played so well last few games. Last time we played Bristol City I was on holiday, could it happen a 2nd time!!!!!

Spoke to some 'Boro fans before and after the game and they felt the penalty was dubious and that overall the ref was against them ! Shows how different the wiinners and the losers peception is. I thought the ref was poor but not in the Prosser mould. I was in Block U so I couldn't see the penalty claim but there again neither could the 'Boro fans.

I was amazed that some bloke behind me were slagging off Iwelumo who I thought had a very good game. I thought Reid was okay abeit not match fit I wouldn't have made him MotM as I would have given that to Butters or Cullip although I thought Chippy had a great game too.

Frankly we just beat a modest side and although we should make the play offs I reckon we'll get badly beaten in the second leg at The County Ground. We'll be lucky to get anything at Ashton Gate next week.

f***ing twat.

I saw the highlights of Reading earlier. Where was the crowd??

To make matters worse, I was rushed to hospital suffering from a coma - 6000 Reading fans were also in attendance.

No, I don't know about the sponsors?

The songs we sang at Barry Fry cracked me up.

To the choon of the Monkees 'Day Dream Believer'.......

'....Cheer up Barry Friiii..., oh what can it mean, to be a, fat-f***ing-blobby, and a, shit-football-teeeemm........'

He is a top bloke - his comments about our stadium, fans etc were superb & much appreciated.

Went to the game. Thought Brighton were slightly the better of two poor teams.

Have seen Brighton play a lot better away from home and get beaten. At this time of year it does not really mater how the team plays as long as they get the results.

Roll on the play off's
