four points from the first two games was a pretty good return, but the visit of beaten play-off finalists norwich was always going to be a different cup of tea. i will remember this game fondly as the one in which sahun wilkinson was given his full league debut, and the youngster put in a man-of-the-match performance - including a superb acrobatic kick that nearly gave him a goal early on

obviously, this was the turning point in our season when zamora was injured in a freak accident, and losing him was always going to make our chances difficult. as it was, we went onto lose 2-0. the second goal in particular was disapointing, after kuipers pulled off a magnificent save, only to see the ball put past him at the third attempt

4 points from 3 games left us in mid table, but little did we know the trouble that was round the corner thanks to an innocent clash of zamoras knee

Dan Harding looked fairly useful that day....as did Marney.
Where are they now?

I remember in the Sportsman before the game some Norwich lads fancied a game so we took out a ball from the Charlie Chalk's play bit and had a game!

Brighton and Hove Albion Boys 3-3 Norwich City Boys

(Brighton win 9-8 on penalties thanks to a marvellous save from me)

i remember they couldn't find the copy of Sussex By The Sea so we ran out to S Club 7s "Don't Stop Moving"

:( after something like that our season was only going to go downhill wasn't it?

since january 15th 2000 - the only reason i remember that date was because it was the last time that the LEGEND that is john WESTCOTT sat on the bench
