Orlandi - 7 (opened up the game for us)
Lua Lua - 7

We only really looked dangerous or interested for the last 15 minutes.

Hardly any movement off the ball and stood off Millwall which ultimately cost us a goal.

Lomas out thought Garcia today and the players did not look up for this one at all except for the last 15 minutes

TK - 6 solid apart from kicking once or twice

Calde - 6 defended solidly enough but not his usual threat going forward

GG - 5 distribution generally poor - especially long balls

Upson - 7 best of the back four

Ward - 6 OK defensively but poor long balls - especially first half

Ince - 6 not as commanding as against Burnley

Spanish Dave - 4 one great ball to Buckley first half. Very poor other than that. Lost possession a lot and weak in the tackle. Shadow of his former self

Agustien - 5 worked fairly hard but nothing really came off for him today

Crofts - 7 worked tirelessly, strong in tackle and tried to make things happen

Buckley - 5 seems to have lost a yard of pace. Not playing with confidence

Ulloa - 8 took goal well and worked hard. First touch not quite as good as usual

Subs

Orlandi - 8 improved dramatically when he came on

Lua Lua - 7 main danger when he came on. Great work for the goal

Andrews - 7 bossed midfield. Moved forwards at pace. Something missing from the rest of the game

Every starting player has had a point deducted for not approaching the game with the right attitude. You can't just turn up and expect to win.

Kush - 5

Calderon - 5
Greer - 5
Upson -6
Ward - 6

Buckley - 5
Kemi - 4
Lopez - 4
Crofts - 3 Quite how Mr Invisible stayed on the pitch for 90 mins is beyond me
Ince- 4 He's young he'll learn from this game

Ulloa - 7.5 How bad we would be without him is very worrying

Orlandi - 7
Lua Lua - 7
Andrews -7

I thought the team turning up like they don't give a shit was a malaise of the Poyet era. Hopefully this was a blip.

Seaford
Kuszczak 6 Little to do but distribution gave the ball away a few time
Ward 7 Looked decent defensively and overlapped well
Upson 6.5 Solid
Greer 6 Solid but gave the ball away a few times unnecessarily
Calderon 6 Same as Ward but caught out a bit for the goal
Ince 6.5 Looked good again but struggled after his booking
Crofts 5 Didn't really notice him at all
Agustien 5 Had very little influence
Lopez 5 As Agustien
Buckley 6.5 Great first half but didn't do much second
Ulloa 7 Great finish again but some very poor ball control at times.

Subs
Orlandi 8 Sparked things to life and really demanded the ball
LuaLua 8 Very lively and an assist. As always though it's whether he'll keep it up
Andrews 7 Drove us on in the dying minutes

Oscar 7 Brave subs and they paid off. Still difficult to judge given injuries

Ref 4 Started well but let Millwall waste what seemed like hours.

Buckley was just a waste of a clean shirt today. Can't recall any occasion when he took the best option. One case in the first half he received the ball on the left with only Shittu in front of him and rather than push it past and use his pace to get around or win a free kick, he held it up and then had two other defenders around him. The miss in front of goal summed up his game.

So you would give Lopez who did absolutely nothing apart from 1 crossfield pass in 55 minutes the same as LuaLua who came on and had 3 shots at goal in his first 5 minutes, before causing them a lot of problems and then skinning his man to make the goal all in 35 minutes?

Kuszczak - 7 No chance with the goal but otherwise controlled his area
Ward -7 Solid
Greer - 7 Solid
Upson - 8 Man of the match for me, Never put a foot wrong
Calderon - 7 solid
Ince - 5 Looked a bit lost today and his inexperience showed.
Agustien - 4 Poor today, Not sure if he went off injured at half time or whether Oscar had seen enough.
Crofts - 6 Pick of a poor midfield today.
Lopez - 4 Poor work rate and poor set pieces, Needs to pick his game up now players are coming back from injury.
Buckley - 7 Worked hard and hung some good crosses in for Ulloa
Ulloa - 7.5 Was getting bashed out of the game but never gave up and got his reward, Quality shone through in the end.

Orlandi - 7 Took 10 mins to find the pace of the game but then showed what we've been missing
Andrews - 7 His quality showed from the moment he stepped on the pitch
KLL - 7 Been critical of him this season but today he was back to doing what he does best.

Ref 7 Best ref I've seen at the Amex this season.

Buckley gave a performance that made me reconsider retirement.

He was woeful at best. That miskick in the 2nd half from 6 yards summed up his game.

What must Solly March be thinking? Buckley playing awful but still does not get a game.

To be fair,Buckley was good last week but he was very poor today.

Correct. Back to the old Greer we all know. Abysmal distribution. Doesn't jump for headers. Not committed to tackles. Poor.

agreed, i usually sit in west lower but sat in west middle today and got a better grasp of payer performances. Greer was awful today, I'm sure LD and AEA would relish the long balls up to tiny McDonald and win them all day long but McDonald seemed to have the better of him every time. When we conceded Greer should have been up in the middle of the park gee'ing everyone up and getting the players going but he just stood there, head down, didnt say a word and gave it the 'double tea pot'......nice one skipper!

Also thought Buckley was poor today, where is his turn of pace? he never looked like beating his man and didn't look confident doing it either. I remember the days where I'd see a team sheet without Buckley in it and i'd think to myself 'how the hell are we gonna win this match without him'

and Dave........shocker son for the last few weeks, hopefully its down to a bit of rustiness
